VIVAs new natural stone range consist of 12 colours in 1x1cm and 2x2cm tiles, hight about 3mm. The finish is matte and the tiles are smoothe on both sides and cut very well with the side biters. The natural stone range blends in beautifully with the with the unglazed ceramic tiles. Natural stone is porous, some colours more than others, and therefore delicate and not suitable for outside. To protect them and also to achieve the true colour you need to treat them with oil or marble polish, but they can also be used as they are. Here they are photographed ‘au naturel’, not treated. As they are a natural product they are all more or less different and therefore they bring a wonderful play and life to a mosaic. Particularly the browns, light browns, dark greens, greys and red with whites provide great variety in colouring. 100g of 1x1cm tiles gives you approximately 100 tiles, 100g of the 2x2cm tiles gives you approximately 24 tiles. This means that you need 1kg to cover a square foot.
