About this pair of stepping stones Arendse says “Stepping stones are always a lovely feature for any garden laid in the ground or hung in the patio. The butterflies here are a wedding present. To the old Greeks a butterfly symbolised the soul; to the Chinese a butterfly stands for immortality and joy and two butterflies together means a happy marriage. The back of the slabs are engraved with the names and the date of the wedding and has a practical hook for hanging. Hence stepping stones can be very personal and thus ideal for presents that are a bit different!
